Former senior staffer to President Donald Trump Marc Short, who now is the head of the Coalation to Protect American Workers, joined Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte (R-MT), the Montana Chamber of Commerce's Todd O'Hair, and the Montana Farm Bureau Federation's John Youngberg for a forum at C&B Operations in Billings, Mont. Frank Hasenfratz’s Ag Equipment Legacy (1935-2022)
The Wall Street Journal recently ran the obituary of Linamar founder Frank Hasenfratz and his amazing immigrant success story. Hasenfratz’s Linamar (mostly known as an automotive supplier) owned White Farm Equipment in the 1980s and Western Combine Corp. in the 1990s (manufacturing the rotary combine for Massey Ferguson), before selling to AGCO in 1996. Linamar acquired farm equipment supplier MacDon almost exactly 4 years ago for $1.2 billion.
