The independent design allows the firming wheel to function independently of the closing discs with adjustable pressure settings.

Firming wheel firms the soil to reduce air pockets and close the seed trench. Closing discs are available in smooth or serrated options. System is designed to use factory v-closing wheel behind closing disc to improve seed trench closing performance in tougher soils and cover crops.
