In this episode, associate editor Sarah Hill sat down with Dan Faber of Faber’s Farm Equipment, a shortline dealer who carries McCormick, Krone, Versatile, Vermeer and more. Dan is the third-generation owner of the dealership, based in Inwood, Iowa.
Dan’s grandfather, Ron Faber, started the business as Ron’s Machinery in 1981 as a used equipment business.
It wasn’t until 2003 that the dealership really started focusing on selling new equipment and it 2006 took on the McCormick line which really helped the business blossom. Today the dealership has second location in Watertown, S.D.
