KEARNEY, Neb. — AGROdeviate announced it has acquired the StripCat family of products from Minden, Neb.-based Twin Diamond Industries. Products include the proven StripCat and Strip Maker models. With the acquisition, AGROdeviate will produce StripCat and Strip Maker under its Hawkins Ag brand, and all machines will be manufactured at the Hawkins Ag production facility in Holdrege, Neb.
AGROdeviate President, Rod Haarberg, said, “StripCat and Strip Maker are well-known and trusted products for strip-till farmers across the United States. We couldn’t be more excited to add them to the list of innovative strip-till products offered by Hawkins Ag.”
Haarberg said Dean Carstens, former Twin Diamond owner, will join the Hawkins Ag staff as Product PRO — StripCat. Haarberg added that current StripCat and Strip Maker owners will be able to contact Hawkins for all service and parts needs.
Carstens said, “StripCat and Strip Maker owners will be more than impressed with the parts and machines produced by Hawkins. And when you add in AGROdeviate’s mission to always innovate, strip-till farmers can look to Hawkins Ag to be at the forefront of strip-till technology.”
Kearney, Neb.-based AGROdeviate is the parent company of Hawkins Ag, and Pine Bluff, Ark.-based W&A Manufacturing. AGROdeviate delivers innovation through the fusion of technology, agronomy, and mechanical design to provide purpose-built solutions in coordination with producers’ regionally specific needs to increase production and profitability.
“With this and Blu-Jet-Unverferth news, there has been significant consolidation in strip-till market in recent weeks. When there are fewer than 15-20 and two consolidate, that’s notable,” says Mike Lessiter, Editor of Farm Equipment.
