Family-owned New Holland dealer Ellens Equipment is opening its second location in Ithaca, Mich. The Ithaca location is includes a 23,094 square foot building and a 4 acre lot and is the site of a former grocery store, according to Morning Sun, an Alma, Mich. newspaper. Their main location is in McBain, Mich.

The deal on this location has been in the works since February. According to owner Linda Ellens, the floor plan for the new building is laid out and they are hoping to be open by August.

Ellens Equipment sells all types of new and used farm machinery, lawn care and construction equipment, utility vehicles, apparel and toys. The other lines they carry include Mahindra, Kuhn, Pottinger, Brillion and Salford. The dealership offers 24-hour-a-day parts ordering and service.

Ellens Equipment was the recipient of Farm Equipment’s 2017 Dealership of the Year award.
