AGCO's Massey Ferguson RB Series Silage Baler is built to produce high-quality, high-density silage and corn stover bales. The variable-chamber balers are available in two models: the RB4160V, for a 4 x 5 foot bale ranging from 35.5-63 inches in diameter and the RB4180V, for a 4 x 6 foot bale diameter ranging from 35.5-71 inches.
With a cam-less pickup, the RB Series balers have fewer moving parts, for quieter operation, less wear and greater reliable. The Constant Pressure System increases pressure on the crop as the surface of the bale grows, for dense, uniform bales. The compact pick-up is near the rotor, ensuring smooth, consistent crop flow into the bale chamber, well-shaped bales and increased baling output. Their HydroFlex Control, two-stage anti-plugging system has a flexing, mechanical floor reducing the potential for plugging and making it easier to clear out a plugged chamber.
The baler pickup is 78 inches wide flare to flare and has a heavy-duty five-bar design. The Xtracut 17 system has two sets of knives that engage hydraulically, for no cutting or adjustable cutting lengths up to 2.65 inches.
