The North Dakota Implement Dealers Assn. (NDIDA) and the Minnesota-South Dakota Equipment Dealers Assn. (MSDEDA) will undergo a historic merger to form a new organization known as the Pioneer Equipment Dealers Assn. The announcement was made January 23 by NDIDA Chairman Jamie Melgaard, Minot, N.D., and MSDEDA Chairman Corey Marzolf, Spring Valley, Minn.
The decision to become a three-state association follows several months of due diligence and an independently conducted ballot vote showing overwhelming support for the move. Members of both NDIDA and MSDEDA are optimistic that the formation of the Pioneer Equipment Dealers Assn. holds vast potential to enhance dealer benefits across the tri-state region.
Matthew Larsgaard will be named President/CEO of the new association, which will be headquartered in Fargo and has an expected launch date of April 1, 2019.
