AGCO's Hesston by Massey Ferguson RazorEdge 1300 Series Mower Conditioner has a heavy-duty design with a fully-welded frame for maximum efficiency, even in the toughest hay-cutting conditions. Four models are available, ranging from 9 feet, 10 inches to 16 feet wide. Each of these pull-type machines is equipped with the unique RazorEdge cutterbar. It has a spur gear design for a thin profile and close cutting without tilting the header. This minimizes scalping, limiting dirt and debris in the crop to optimize feed value.

Because of the modular cutterbar design, each gear assembly and adjacent idler gear can be individually removed without disassembly of the entire cutterbar. Counter-rotating discs provide improved cut quality and minimize crop streaking. Each model comes factory-equipped with exclusive 18-degree “high lift” bottom-bevel Radura knives that maintain their sharp edge longer than ground-edge knives, providing a cleaner cut for better forage quality. An optional quick-change knife system and the change tool make replacing cutterbar knives quick and minimize downtime.

The conditioners come standard with a single set of steel-on-steel conditioner rolls to crimp crop stems every 3-4 inches for faster drying while preserving leaf quality and nutritional value.
