In today’s episode of Farm Equipment’s Used Equipment Remarketing Roadmaps podcast, host Casey Seymour of Moving Iron LLC discusses the aftermath of Hurricane Michael with Lou Bordoni of Flint Ag in Leesburg, Ga., just a few weeks after the event.

Casey and Lou start things off talking about the impact Hurricane Michael had on Georgia and the cotton crop. They also discuss the peanut and pecan crops and how they fared with the storm. Lou says over 27,000 acres of pecan trees have been recorded lost.

Casey and Lou continue their discussion about how more farmers may potentially convert acres from wheat to cotton in 2019 and the impact that is going to have on the used combine market. They also touch on the conditions down in Argentina, where Lou’s family still farms.
