“We thank Nick Yaksich for being the driving force that transformed our presence in D.C., from a two-person operation monitoring issues to a talented team of advocacy and public affairs professionals influencing legislative and regulatory issues on behalf of our members,” said AEM President Dennis Slater. “Nick has been an extremely valuable member of AEM’s senior leadership team and highly respected in our industry, in D.C. and among our members.”

“We now look to Kip Eideberg to take the office to the next level and continue to help our members speak with one voice on behalf of our industry. Kip is a proven high performer who is creative and passionate about the issues facing our members. The interim designation will be removed after six months based on performance,” continued Slater.

Eideberg currently serves as AEM’s Vice President of Public Affairs, where he has strategic and overall responsibility for developing and executing government and public affairs campaigns, including I Make America and Infrastructure Vision 2050. He will continue to oversee these efforts and take on the additional role of leading the office and building upon our advocacy initiatives and campaigns.
