Montag Mfg. has announced the latest edition to the team, Scott Trost. Scott has been assigned to the position of CFO as of Monday Sep. 24th, 2018.
Scott graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 1994 where he majored in Business Administration — Accounting. Beginning his career with Becton Dickinson, Scott worked for 5 years in Broken Bow and Salt Lake City in their accounting department.
Having the opportunity to come back to Nebraska, Scott worked at Cabela’s for 20 years holding various accounting and finance roles. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Scott has both the experience of being raised on a farm and running his own. Scott has 28 plus years of agricultural knowledge farming in southwestern Nebraska. Scott currently farms 1,200 acres of irrigated and dryland crops consisting mainly of corn, wheat, peas and alfalfa.
