BUCKNER, Ky. — 2018 is a milestone year for Buckner, Ky.-based Fastline Media Group. This recognized agricultural industry resource celebrates the 40th anniversary of the company’s founding.
Today, Fastline works with farm equipment dealers to leverage relationships with farmers in their communities both digitally and in print. “If you can get your equipment in front of new local people or talk again to previous customers, you might get it moved and not be forced into an auction decision,” Susan Arteburn of Fastline said during the 2017 Dealership Minds Summit, “Roadmap to Mastering Equipment Remarketing.”
The Fastline legacy began on June 1, 1978 when Bill Howard opened his first publication in the heavy-duty trucking industry, The Kentucky Truck Trader. From its first entry into the agriculture industry in 1986, the growth and evolution of the company that in 2016 would be renamed Fastline Media Group hasn’t stopped. Recent 2018 releases for Fastline Media Group include a price comparison tool on Fastline.com and the introduction of a new division of the company, i3 Digital Agency.
At the company celebration on June 13, 2018, Bill Howard, founder and CEO, was awarded with commemorative artwork of employee signatures. The 75+ employees present at the celebration read Fastline Facts and memories — including fun stories of Bill’s leadership and antics – through the years.
“2018 is a great year for Fastline Media Group! Not only are we celebrating our first 40 years in business, but we are preparing and launching new strategies to carry us into the next 40 years of supporting the agriculture industry! I could not be happier to be continuing our work in the ag industry!”
