Taylorville, Ill. — Jenner Ag has been nominated for a Great Game of Business All-Star Award for the fourth consecutive time.
The All-Star Award recognizes companies worldwide that have demonstrated outstanding results in employing the principles of open-book management and The Great Game of Business. Jenner Ag is a two-time winner of the award—one of only two companies with the distinction.
“The All-Star Awards recognize practitioners that play The Great Game of Business at the highest level—the best of the best,” says Jack O’Riley, an independent coach for The Great Game of Business and owner of The Coaching House. “These organizations run their business in a way that includes trust, business education and involvement, shared risks and rewards, and open communication.”
The Great Game of Business, Inc. was established to help companies implement open-book management practices outlined in the book The Great Game of Business. The organization is the educational wing of SRC Holdings Corporation, where the business philosophy of open-book management was developed by President and CEO Jack Stack more than 30 years ago.
“The Great Game of Business and open-book management motivate our front-line associates to stay engaged by laying out what they need to accomplish to meet both their individual goals and the company’s,” says Steve Jones, President of Jenner Ag. “It helps them think and act like owners.”
Jenner Ag is in its seventh year as a Great Game of Business company. The Great Game of Business All-Star Award will be presented at the 26th Annual Gathering of Games, the world’s largest open-book management conference, September 5-7 in Dallas.
