Grasshopper's FrontMount 900D MaxTorque Diesel Zero Turn Mower's Tier 4 Final, 1.3 liter, three cylinder, liquid-cooled diesel engine delivers high-torque power while producing fewer emissions than gasoline or propane thanks to its advanced combustion system that requires no diesel exhaust emissions systems to maintain. The fuel-efficient engine also cuts fuel consumption by almost half.

The torque of the diesel engine allows for uninterrupted mowing, even in lush, overgrown conditions with choices of either a 61 or 72 inch DuraMax deck powered with a splined PTO shaft. Both decks feature Grasshopper’s PowerFold Electric Deck Lift that rotates the deck to a near vertical position with the flip of a switch for easy underside cleaning and blade replacement. This same feature also adjusts the deck cutting height.

Standard features on the 900D model include a combination electronic fuel gauge, digital hour meter, two USB charging ports, G2.1 transmission with 21cc pump-and-wheel-motor drives, hydraulic/deck/implement lift, LED lights, QuikAjust Tilt dual steering levers and QuikConverter Implement System.
