Titan International recently introduced the Goodyear OPTITRAC LSW1100/35R32 as an option on the front position of MFWD tractors. This setup, used in coordination with the Goodyear OPTITRAC LSW1250/35R46 rears, is the company’s largest super single flotation setup for MFWD tractors offered to date – an addition to the company’s Extreme Flotation lineup.

Compared to a standard factory dual configuration with 420/85R34 fronts and 480/80R50 rears, the new Extreme Flotation setup offers an approximate 25% improvement to footprint, thereby reducing pinch row compaction and field disturbance that can negatively impact yield.

In addition to offering flotation benefits, because these tires are outfitted with Low Sidewall Technology (LSW), growers can expect reduced power hop for more efficient tillage and planting operations, as well as reduced road lope for improved travel speeds between fields.
