ST. LOUIS, MO – The Equipment Dealers Foundation (EDF), the charitable organization of the Equipment Dealers Assn. (EDA) has begun accepting scholarship applications for the 2017-18 academic year. The deadline to submit all application materials is 5:00pm (Central) on April 28, 2017.

EDF’s scholarship program supports the training, retraining or advancement of current or potential employees of member dealerships.  Scholarships are available in each of EDA’s 9 regions throughout North America.  Candidates must be recommended by a dealer member to be eligible.

It is the hope of the EDF to use these scholarships as a tool to grow the pool of educated and well-qualified employees who are committed to their professional development within the industry. These funds can be used for any educational program; associate, bachelor’s and post-graduate degrees in any field as well as technical training in the ag equipment industry.

Up to $1,000 in scholarship money is available for each recipient from EDF with an additional $1,000 required from the sponsoring dealership. In 2016, $36,000 in scholarships was awarded to 19 students. For more information on the scholarship program, including the application and guidelines, click here.
