Colorado-born TC Truesdell, a former marketing coordinator at Claas of America, has been appointed to head Pöttinger’s newly formed global marketing communication department encompassing PR, digital marketing and traditional advertising.

After marketing studies at Gonzaga University in Washington State, Truesdell worked at an advertising agency and a credit union before joining Claas as a trainee in customer care, communications, sales and logistics in Omaha, Nebraska, where he subsequently took on the marketing coordinator role.

Regional marketing roles at Claas Group for the Americas, India, Australasia and Asia followed before his latest appointment — a new role that reflects the increasing importance of digitalization in agricultural technology and new media, says Pöttinger.

Truesdell’s family continues to operate a machinery business in Colorado.
