Noteboom Implement and Hultgren Implement on Thursday announced a merger that will bring eight Deere locations in Northwest Iowa and Southeast South Dakota under the same banner. The combined business will operate as Noteboom Implement, reports the Sioux City Journal.
Terms of the deal, which takes effect July 31, were not disclosed.
Noteboom Implement, a family business led by Dan, Mike and Justin Noteboom and Pete and Paul Hegg, has locations in Spencer and Sibley, Iowa, and Parkston, Chamberlain, Corscia and Platte, S.D. Hultgren Implement, headed by Jeff Hultgren, Todd Conover, and Dewayne, Dustin, and Bryce Ricklefs, has locations in Ida Grove and Storm Lake, Iowa.
Combined, the two dealerships have a122 years of John Deere ownership. The owners say the merger will allow for improved capabilities to better serve their customers.
