Farm Equipment Executive Editor and Ag Equipment Intelligence Editor/Publisher Dave Kanicki will join a panel of experts to discuss their 2016 outlook for the agriculture and farm equipment industries during the Jefferies Commodity Expert Panels on April 4 in New York City.
Kanicki’s portion of the panel will cover used equipment values, number and types of auctions, dealer inventory levels and the potential for further consolidation among dealers. The other presenters include David Streit, founder of Commodity Weather Group; Shawn Hackett, Hackett Financial Advisors; and Mark Trimmer, managing partner at Dunham Trimmer.
Following the presentations Kanicki and the other panel members will take part in an interactive Q&A session led by Jefferies’ senior analysts Laurence Alexander (Chemical and Emergine Technologies), Stephen Volkmann (Machinery) and Akshay Jagdale (Food/Agribusiness).
Other topics that will be covered include the weather forecast for the spring planting season and the longer-term global outlook for 2016 as well as the 2016 and long-term grain supply/demand and price outlook.
