Farm Equipment editors caught up with S.I. Distributing at the 2016 National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky., as they introduced the Finger-Till Closing Wheel. It works well in both wet and dry conditions because of its unique spikes and side fins that allow the wheel to crumble loose soil clods and fill in trenches. The spikes also help to break down the sidewall for a nice closing finish.
While the finger-till has been around for the several years now, Kyle Williams with S.I. Distributing says the company has been working to fine-tune the product in recent years to increase its versatility.
