Owatonna, Minn. — Mike St. Onge of Titan Machinery Inc., in Thief River Falls, Minn., was elected chairman of the Minnesota-South Dakota Equipment Dealers Assn. and John Bieringer of Dairyland Supply Inc., a shortline dealer in Sauk Centre, Minn. was elected vice chairman.

The election was held during the business session of the association’s annual convention held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Sioux Falls, S.D. in December of 2015. 

According to the report in TheLandOnline.com: 

St. Onge began at Titan as Valley Regional Manager and is now the General Manager of the Titan Machinery store in Thief River Falls, MN. Prior to joining Titan in May of 2010, St. Onge held several positions with Alerus Financial, most recently as North Valley Market president. St. Onge began his career with New Holland following graduation from Ferris State University, and spent twenty-three years as territory manager in the Red River Valley and surrounding area for the company.

Bieringer’s community involvement include serving as a board member and past president of the Sauk Centre Chamber of Commerce, board member of the Sauk Centre Park Board for 8 years, board member of the Stearns Co. Dairy Advisory Council for 8 years, and event coordinator and local committee chairman with Celebrate Minnesota 1990. He has served on several dealer advisory panels and manufacturers’ business and Presidents’ clubs. John is current chairman of the Central Minnesota Farm Show and serves his local church in leading VBS, conducting small group Bible studies, and teaching adult Sunday School.

Mike Scharber of Minnesota Equipment Inc. in Rogers, Minn., was elected to the association's Board of Directors during the Annual Meeting.
