John Deere is recalling about 150 zero-turn mower models Z445, Z645, Z655, and Z665 with serial numbers beginning with 1GXZ, manufactured from Aug. 10-Sept. 9, 2015. A fuel hose could have been cut during manufacturing, allowing fuel to leak, posing a fire hazard.
A complete list of the serial numbers involved in the recall can be found on John Deere's website.
While no injuries have been reported, consumers should immediately stop using these recalled zero-turn mowers and contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair. After identifying four reports of cut fuel hoses during the manufacturing process, John Deere is contacting all registered owners of the recalled lawn mowers directly.
