Agri-Service, the largest Massey Ferguson dealership in North America, has moved into its new location which includes space for its corporate headquarters.
MagicValley.com reports the old building was demolished last week.
"'We’ve outgrown the old location,' said Agri-Service President Clint Schnoor.
"The 43-acre site holds a 60,000-square-foot farm-equipment dealership, plus an 18,000-square-foot facility for its corporate headquarter, Schnoor said.
"The farm-equipment dealership began doing business with 5 employees 25 years ago in Twin Falls. The company has grown to employ 250 at a dozen location in Idaho, Utah, Oregon and Washington.
"The Terteling Co. of Boise purchased Agri-Service in November 2013. The company was previously employee-owned.
"The Terteling family also owns Western States Equipment, with Caterpillar machinery dealership locations throughout the Northwest.
"Western States dealerships in the Agri-Service geographical area no longer sell and service agricultural machinery, said Cleve Buttars, founder and former CEO of Agri-Service. The Challenger brand of equipment is sold exclusively by Agri-Service."
Editor's Note: Clint Schnoor, president of Agri-Service, participated in a 3-dealer panel discussion in a recent Farm Equipment webinar about building a 21st century dealership facility. The Twin Falls, Idaho, project is one of four renovations projects currently underway or recently completed by Agri-Service.
