RDO Equipment Co. has awarded the Ruth Meiers Hospitality House with a $25,000 grant.

RDO offers funding through the company's Community Builder program.

Any employee from RDO Equipment Co. or R.D. Offutt Company can apply for a Community Builder grant in the name of a local charitable organization. Lon Kindseth, vice president at RDO Equipment Co., submitted the application for Ruth Meiers Hospitality House.

“My wife Dianna and I are proud to be associated with an organization like Ruth Meiers that does so much to help so many people,” said Kindseth, who has supported Ruth Meiers for about 20 years.

In 2014, Ruth Meiers provided more than 43,000 nights of shelter and 100,000 meals to men, women and children in need in the region.
