TriStateNeighbor.com reports that Wheat Growers will hold an open house at their new Innovation Center in Bath, S.D., on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
The report says:
"The facility will be a place for farmers to learn about precision ag tools, and it also will serve Wheat Growers’ internal needs for training and machinery repairs.
"The main entrance opens to a showroom where staff can demonstrate precision software and equipment. Farmers may be able, for example, to check out set-up options on a planter or get a guided tour of a new software program.
"'We want to make sure we’re adopting the right technologies to make our farmers successful in the Dakotas,' said Steve Briggs, senior vice president of agronomy for Wheat Growers.
"A demonstration theater has seating for 60 people to sit in on training sessions. It’s set up with equipment to send a live video feed to other Wheat Growers locations throughout North Dakota and South Dakota."
