ECKVILLE, Alta. – In response to increasing market demand, Claas of America has made immediate plans to expand its dealer footprint in Alberta with the addition of its newest dealer, Agriterra Equipment in Eckville. The move, part of a planned dealership expansion in Canada, will ensure that CLAAS customers in the region will receive superior support in a previously underserved market.
“Canada is an important world market for Claas. We recently opened a Parts and Logistics Centre in Regina and are now taking similar measures to ensure our dealer network throughout the country is just as strong,” explained Christopher Gittens, vice president of dealer development for Claas of America.
Agriterra Equipment, which recently acquired former Claas dealer KASHA Equipment, will carry Jaguar forage harvesters and Claas balers and hay tools. Having served the area for more than 10 years, Agriterra Equipment is well prepared to handle the new line of harvesting equipment.
“Agriterra Equipment is known for our traditional values. We run our stores with managers who are empowered to make decisions and meet the needs of our customers immediately,” explained Branch Manager Brian Taschuk. “We pride ourselves on showing customers respect, working with integrity and demonstrating excellent teamwork.”
“We are excited to add Agriterra Equipment to the Claas family as a new dealer,” said Gittens. “We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
