QUINCY, Ill. — Titan International Inc. recently hired Brandon Rogers as a sales representative for southern Georgia and northern Florida.

Rogers joins Titan from Albany Tractor Co., a John Deere dealership where he was the top large ag salesman. Prior to that, he worked at his family’s Case dealership until it was sold in 2007.

His career is highlighted by several awards, according to Titan, including the 2005 Agribusiness Person of the Year given by the Pelham Chamber of Commerce, and being named to the Cub Cadet Top 100 Club for sales volume and largest growth dealership in the nation in 2005-2006.

Titan CEO and Board Chairman Maurice Taylor Jr. welcomed Rogers to the Titan team, citing his work with equipment dealers. “He has built great relationships with farmers throughout the southeast, and while working with them has seen how our LSW (low-sidewall) tires make every piece of farm equipment work better regardless of its make or color.

“Brandon has watched the LSW tires perform in his area the last few years, and now wants to be a part of the Titan team. We are happy to welcome him.”

Rogers will be working with equipment dealers, farmers and shortliners, Titan said, to bring the LSW technology to the southeast.

According to the tire maker, LSW technology features a low sidewall that “provides low compaction, no power hop or road lope, the ability to run air pressures at 8 psi, out-pulling tracks and quad tracks. Plus users find an increase in fuel efficiency of 5-6%.”

Titan is a holding company that owns subsidiaries supplying wheels, tires and assemblies for off-highway equipment used in agricultural, earthmoving/construction and consumer (including all terrain vehicles) applications.
