An agricultural business headquartered in Hopkinsville, Ky., is expanding its footprint in the industry. H&R Agri-Power, a Case IH farm equipment dealer with locations in Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi, has completed the acquisition of Black Prairie Tractor, one of the leading Zimmatic dealerships in the U.S.

With the move, H&R Agri-Power will now have two facilities in Columbus, Mississippi.

H&R president Wayne Hunt says by joining forces with a company like Black Prairie, which specializes in irrigation, they can now provide customers with expert design and feasibility analysis for irrigation. The irrigation team from Black Prairie will lead H&R Agri-Power’s irrigation division throughout the company’s entire footprint.
