Two multi-generation Montana John Deere dealerships are combining forces to provide a greater inventory and more comprehensive services to customers in central, north central and southwest Montana.
Moodie Implement, headquartered in Lewistown, and Frontline Ag, with its main office in Conrad, will now be known as Frontline Ag Solutions. The two existing companies have a long history of providing strong sales and service of John Deere equipment, and the merger is expected to further enhance the advantages the combined operation can offer to customers.
“We’ll be a stronger company with greater buying power,” Jim Moodie said.
The integrated company will retain all the current locations of both dealerships: Belgrade, Chester, Choteau, Conrad, Cut Bank, Dillon, Great Falls, Havre, Lewistown and Livingston. Current employees and service lines will also remain the same.
“Our customers won’t see fundamental differences day-to-day, but we’ll have greater availability of new and used equipment and parts, along with expanded agronomics capabilities,” Moodie said.
John Deere corporate has worked with the two companies to facilitate the integration of the two dealerships.
“We share the same goals to provide outstanding value and service to keep our customers up and running,” Ken Wheeler of Frontline Ag said. “Each of us brings strengths to the combined company.”
The new Frontline Ag Solutions retains 204 full-time employees under the leadership of store managers in each of its locations.
“Under the Frontline Ag Solutions name, our company and its people will continue to be active in supporting our communities,” Moodie said. “Like our commitment to our customers, our values won’t change.”
New signage and an updated website for Frontline Ag Solutions are expected in coming weeks.
