Anderson Industries LLC, Mapleton, N.D., specialists in providing weldments and machined components to equipment manufacturers in the agriculture and construction industries, acquired 100% of the shares of Dakota Foundry Inc. located in Webster, S.D., last month.
Dakota Foundry manufactures grey and ductile iron castings up to 5,000 pounds for the industrial, construction, agriculture and transportation industries.
The foundry’s website noted that Dakota Foundry (www.dakotafoundry.com) is renowned for consistently providing customers with high quality products at competitive prices with the fastest turnaround in the country.

"Our vision is to manufacture solutions that enhance our customer's experience, productivity, and profitability. The acquisition of the foundry allows us to be a one stop shop for our customer's metal fabrication or iron casting needs."
Anderson's history with Dakota Foundry goes back to 2006 when he had just started Anderson Industries and was making foundry patterns for them from his garage. Today, Anderson Industries LLC has five manufacturing locations in North and South Dakota with a total of 160 employees.
