AGCO recently recognized their top performing dealers in 2013, naming Altorfer Inc. third in overall sales for AGCO in North America.

This announcement was made in January at AGCO’s annual dealer business meeting held in Denver, Colorado, where AGCO’s North American dealers gathered to learn about new products, training, and plans for the upcoming year.

According to Altorfer Vice President Pat Puntoni, the company’s ag division has grown substantially in the past decade.

“We have kept pace with AGCO’s growth in North America by expanding our AGCO machine offerings,” says Puntoni. “We added the AgChem Application Equipment product line in 2007, and in 2014 we are adding AGCO’s Sunflower Tillage product line. We also plan to increase our AGCO MT500 and MT600 wheel tractor market share to a level in par with our MT700 and MT800 track tractor business.”

Altorfer has been an authorized AGCO dealer since 2002, providing sales and support for AGCO’s Challenger, RoGator and TerraGator product lines. This is the 11th consecutive year Altorfer has placed within the top 20 dealers in North America.

“Our goal is to continue to be one of AGCO’s top performing dealerships in North America,” adds Puntoni.
