Farm Equipment
Future-Planned Facilities
Farm equipment manufacturers are responding to and, in some cases, anticipating farmers’ needs in designing new products. This was evident in the many new developments rolled out during the 2016 Farm Progress Show.
In addition to showing its 50th anniversary limited edition tractors with its historic red and yellow paint, Versatile unveiled its new Viking vertical tillage line. The line marked the company’s first tillage line built from the ground up and branded under Versatile. According to Versatile staff, the line allows growers to customize by offering a minimal gang angle for spring seedbed preparation and a more aggressive one for fall tillage. Dealer Development Manager Alan Graff also noted that the manufacturer signed up 21 new dealers in the last year. He said that Versatile’s competitive pricing and dealer-friendly approach are more visible to prospective dealers during tough economic times. www.Versatile-ag.ca
