Goshen News reported on Sept. 12, that John Deere farm equipment dealer GreenMark Equipment closed its Goshen, Ind., store on Sept. 4.
GreenMark had been operating the store since equipment dealers Fillmore Equipment, Gilsinger Implement and Howard and Sons merged to form GreenMark Equipment in January 2014.
GreenMark Equipment posted this message to its customers on its website pertaining to the closure, “As we considered ideas on how to raise the level of service and parts availability to our Elkhart County customers, we acknowledged the facility is inadequate to handle those needs long term. Looking at all options, we determined that the best solution was to service this area with surrounding GreenMark locations.”
The website goes on to say, “You will continue to see the familiar faces you have come to know in our other area locations, like Ray Culp who will now be serving customers in our Leesburg, Ind., location and Derek Cripe will now be working out of Mishawaka, Ind.”
With the closure of the Goshen location, GreenMark now has 15 locations throughout Michigan and Indiana.
