Plus, twine capacity has been increased by 60 percent for less downtime to change spools. The MF1840 balers produce 14-by-18-inch bales and replace the popular MF1839. Deere & Company announced plans to purchase an Iowa company that manufactures planters. Bauer Built Manufacturing has partnered with Deere to make John Deere and Bauer co-branded planters since 2002. Bauer makes 44- to 120-feet ultra-wide DB Series planters at its plant in Paton, Iowa.

Massey Ferguson will proudly introduce and display its newest line of mid-range tractors, the 6600 Series, at the 2013 Farm Progress Show, Aug. 27-29 in Decatur, Ill.
