Deere Announces More Job Cuts in Iowa

Deere & Co. notified about 190 production workers at its Waterloo, Iowa, operations about layoffs, reports AgricultureDive. 

The job cuts are expected to take effect June 22. According to Iowa's WARN log as of May 21, Deere has eliminated 650 jobs in Iowa since March 12, 2024. The announcement came 2 weeks after the OEM announced it was cutting positions at the Moline Cylinder Works facility in Moline, Ill.
