Fast Facts

Customer Segment: Conventional tillage farmers who are looking to increase their output without sacrificing efficiency

Key Selling Point: The product features high working speeds with pinpoint seed accuracy and wide widths for universal applications.

A newly designed model of seed drill from Pöttinger, the Terrasem features passive seedbed preparation and precision universal metering designed to guarantee exact seed placement. The trailed seed drills are available in working widths of 3 and 9 meters. The product also features larger hoppers to increase output potential.

“This is one of our newest machines featuring our disc harrows, creating the perfect combination to prepare the seedbed,” says Karisa Taylor, administrative coordinator at Pöttinger.

With the disc harrows as the leading tillage tool on the machine, the seed drills are ideal for mulch drilling and are also available with wave discs as an option for loosening the soil in strips. The product also has efficient metering systems that are built to make sure that the exact right amount of any given seed type is used
