Retirement Plans: Over 60% Plan to Retire in 5-10 Years

We polled Farm-Equipment.com visitors to gauge their retirement plans. Of those who responded, 32.2% plan to retire within the next 5 years and another 30.5% are expecting to retire within the next 10 years. Those planning to retire within the next year made up 22% of the responses and a little over 15% will retire within the next 15 years.

These results are in line with a poll conducted 3 years ago by Farm Equipment, which revealed more than three-quarters of dealer-principals are 51 years old or older. Of this group, slightly more than 37% are 61 or older. Only about 26% are 50 years old or younger.
